Bagan & Yangon: Flight Transfer

Yangon Arrival

Welcome to Myanmar! Arriving in Yangon airport, you will be transferred to the hotel located in the city centre for check-in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Yangon – Fly To Bagan – Sightseeing(B)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan, where our tour guide and driver are waiting to take you around Bagan for exploration. Start the visit at the Shwezigon Pagoda to learn more about the Burmese Buddhist traditions.

In our journey in Bagan, Ananda temple, Gubyaukgyi temple and Thatbyinnyu temple will not be missed. Additionally, we also visit the Myinkaba village to learn about the unique handicraft of lacquer-ware in Myanmar.

In the late afternoon, visit the Shwesandaw pagoda, elevated structure in Bagan with interesting interior.

NOTE: CLIMBING ON TEMPLES AND PAGODAS IS NO LONGER PERMITTED

Bagan Exploring (B)

Optional: Hot air balloons over Bagan (Only available from October/November through March). You are recommended to wake up early to get to the launch of hot-air balloon, which give you interesting experience of seeing the Irrawaddy River and the stupas in the region from bird-eye views.

After breakfast, we visit some other most famous monuments in Bagan such as the largest temple of Dhammayangyi as well as the beautiful Htilominlo temple built from red brick.

After that, you will the Minnanthu village where the friendly local people live in their traditional houses of countryside area with an outdoor living area for sitting, entertaining, working, and sleeping. Around the village, we also can see some monuments such as Tayokepyay Temple, Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya and Payathonzu temple.

Bagan – Fly To Yangon - City Tour (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Yangon. Arriving in the city centre, take a visit to the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda.

Continue travelling to the downtown to explore architectures of the colonial buildings in this historic former capital city. Specifically, the tour guide will explain the history of each structure and what they were used for.

Keep walking to explore the local life of Burmese in Little India and China Town. During heading to China Town (or 19th Street), you are free to take some amazing photos of a nearby temple with hundreds of images depicting mythological scenes.

After that, we take a walk around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) – located in the heart of city. The Bogyoke Aung San Market is the most popular market and a great tourist destination in Yangon. It is one of the precious colonial buildings you can find in this city.

To finish the day, we visit the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, the most spiritual pagoda in Myanmar.

Free time at your leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your international flight.
