Overview Cruise
Built in 2003 with traditional style, Amara 1 Cruise is the beautiful cruise ship of the Amara Group and one of the best cruises of Myanmar, especially Bagan travel. All cabins are fitted with modern comforts, including en suite bathrooms and hot and cold showers The communal space of the cruisers includes canopied open-air dining area, deck bar, a sun deck and a bad weather dining- room below deck. Electricity is provided 24 hours a day. For safety all cabins have smoke detectors, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and life jackets. You will be taken care of by our friendly and hospitable staff and be able to relax and enjoy the personal atmosphere on board.
Day01
Bagan Jetty – Yandabo (L/D)
In the morning, at 8h00, you will embark on the Amara River Cruise. Depart your excursion for Yandabo. Yandabo is the name of beautiful pottery village. It is historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826, between the British and Royal Burmese House. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Day02
Yandabo – Ava (B/L/D)
Your excursion will set off at 6h00 to Ava- a city in the Mandalay Division of Myanmar, situated just to the south of Amarapura on the Ayeyarwady River.
Upon your arrival, you will visit Nan Myint Watch Tower. The watch tower which is about 90 feet (30 m) high is a solitary masonry building that remains of Bagyidaw’s palace built in 1822. This is one of the Myanmar architectural styles of early 19th Century.
Continue onto Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery .This monastery is one of the finest brick building decorated with flora and stucco. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day03
Ava – Mandalay (B)
This morning, after your breakfast, you will disembark at 08h00.
