Ngapali Beach resides on the Western part of Burma. The name ‘Ngapali’ pronouced similar to ‘Napally’, which is reminiscent to ‘Napali’. Some have rumored that many years ago, there was an Italian man who miss his homeland. Thus by seeing the beach, he called it Ngapali and people started to call the same since then.
What attractive about Ngapali Beach is its un-touched natural beauty, worthy to be one of best beaches in Asia. It features wonderful coast with lines of palm trees, and white sandy shore. The beach does not have many visitors, making it one of the best ‘getaway’ in Asia. That being said, several hotels have been built to fulfill the need of tourists.
In Ngapali Beach, there are tons of activites available for travelers to select, from kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing to cycling, biking, hot air balloon trip, and more… For those who enjoy experiencing local life, the fishing village of Jate Taw (or Gyeik Taw) is definitely the right place.
